Easter in London, Christmas in Delhi

I had been wanting to see St. Paul’s Cathedral in London for a while, so decided to go to an Easter service. It was quiet, kind of somber, and not very lively. In no way did the service resemble the Christmas mass I attended in Delhi, but for some reason yesterday, I couldn’t help but smile as I thought of Christmas in Delhi. In India, everything has a way of turning into a festive spectacle.

The video is what was going on outside the church…
(jingle bells in hindi…for non-hindi speakers)
Enjoy… :)

  2. Malika and I just figured out the lyrics to this, by the way. Ready:
"Ghanti bajao, ghanti bajao sarai rasta me(?), Santa Claus aathae hai kulli ghardi mein."

HAHAHAH. I just about died. Twice.
